Business Coach Ashley Thomson
A business engineer who uses first-principles in business growth coaching.
Ashley began his career with a consulting company and was assigned to drive efficiencies in corporate businesses including Coles Group, Myer, ANZ Bank, Telstra, and Zurich Insurance. This gave him the unique opportunity to spend time in complex and competitive businesses working in high pressure markets.
As a result of this he came to understand what made a great business, and what made a poor performer. He also got to see first-hand the differences between how great managers lead their organisation and how dud managers ran theirs.
In addition to coaching other businesses for 20 years, Ashley has also bought, operated and sold his own business.
Ashley holds a Master of Entrepreneurship and Innovation, a Graduate Diploma of Business Management and Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) (mechanical) from Swinburne University in Melbourne, Australia.
