Easy online tactics to grow your business

Times are changing and whether we like it on not, online technology is now an integral part of all successful businesses. Even if you will never sell online, this technology can help your business to break new ground. Here are some tips I give my business coaching clients:

  • Encourage online reviews through Google Places, Facebook, Linked In and other lesser known sites.

This is a conversation with your valued customers that goes something like this:

“We’re currently ranked No.6 for Melbourne on Google Places, and we’d love your help to get to No.1”.

With the arrival of smartphones, often your customers will rate you right there and then. This is marketing at its best because it costs you nothing.

  • Get email addresses

Being able to communicate with your customers allows you to market in a very targeted way. Sending a regular newsletter will help to keep your business top of mind.

  • Ask your for what you want

I often hear about business coaching clients with dedicated and loyal customers. And as a business coach, I encourage them to ask for referrals. If they are delighted with the service or products that you provide, they will be happy to recommend you to their friends. A special offer for your customers to email to their friends can be very effective marketing.

Embrace the power of online marketing and watch your business flourish as a result!
