I’m here with insights for Australian businesses on 20th August 2021
This briefing is about grants in Victoria and a comparison to what is available in NSW for businesses that are under restrictions. If you’re not a Tenfold client with operations in Victoria or NSW, you may want to skip it. (My goal with these briefings is to make them highly relevant. That way you know when you get one, it’s worth your reading time.)
Victorian grants – amounts increased
Tenfold clients and business owners in Victoria may be eligible for a little bit more funding with small increases to the grants announced yesterday by the Vic government.
We’ve noticed with some Tenfold clients that there is increasing apathy towards the grants because the money on offer is not to the scale that we saw with JobKeeper. We knew that this was likely to occur – I wrote about it in January this year to try to manage your expectations.
With that in mind, I’ve provided you with a high-level summary of the grants so you can think about applying for them. We’ve found with our coaching clients who have applied that the process is simple and pretty quick to complete. Our business mentors can advise you on the process.
While the amounts of these current grants aren’t significant, if you’re eligible to receive the money it could contribute to covering some of the costs in your business.
Victorian clients and small business owners, please speak to your Tenfold coach. We can run the numbers and advise whether you might be eligible for the Vic Hardship Fund (for specific eligibility criteria, see my briefing of 19 August 2021).
