COVID-19 Business Continuity – 16th September

I’m here with the COVID-19 continuity update for Australian businesses on 16th September.

Facebook is offering grants for small businesses that are located in Sydney and Melbourne. My team of business coaches and I have been watching out for these details since 6th April (see my briefing from that date), so it’s good to hear that the application process finally opened today.

There will be 465 grants issued, each worth $4000 in cash + optional $2,400 in ad credits.

To be eligible to apply for the grant, your business must:
• Be a for-profit company
• Have between 2 and 50 employees as of 1 January 2020
• Have been in business for over a year
• Have experienced challenges from COVID-19
• Be located in Melbourne or Sydney

You don’t have to be a Facebook advertiser or have a Facebook presence to apply.

Applications are open today and close on Tuesday 22nd September. Note: you’ve got less than a week to submit your application. To apply, click here: https://www.facebook.com/business/boost/grants

As always, your Tenfold Business Coach can help you navigate the application process to give you the best chance of success.

(If you have trouble getting through all pages of the application, keep trying – we’ve heard it’s a bit glitchy.)

This is another opportunity for businesses to get extra financial support, so I encourage you to apply. There have been several grants, like this one, local council grants and the Salesforce grant to name a few, that haven’t been widely publicised, which is why the Tenfold team continue to actively seek out these opportunities for our clients.

On that point, congratulations to those Tenfold clients who received $10,000 each from the Salesforce grant.

As we identify more options for grants and funding, we’ll continue to bring them to you.
